Changes to my study programme

First of all the study programme i am in is the career of dentistry.

The first thing i would change, it would be the lenght of studies, in Chile the career lasts at least 6 year, even though in other countries are just around 5 years . why do we have a year extra? if we could do all in just 5 years.

If we talk about the building and infrastucture, the main thing that i would change is the green area, we have barely any, just a little bit in a corner with some trees, beside the stairs, but the rest is all made of concrete, i think if the students have the possibility of having more green around them, maybe it would low the risk of stress.

In the case of use of technology, i have noticed that in other faculties they have much more advanced technology than we have, so the thing that i would do is try, if we can not have the same, then similar access to technology that they have.

About the teaching methods, as we have been in a pandemic situation, the way of teaching has changed, compared to last year, but based on my experience from my first year of university i find  the teaching methods very good, however, like it was my first year, it was difficult to adjust at the beginning, because the way they teach it is really fast, compared to the school. But overall it was good.

What is my opinion about recycling?

Recycling is a process, with the aim of transforming the waste material to a new product or raw material.

There are many ways to recycle one of them is the recycle bin, we can put in the recycle bin plastic bottles, cardboard, metal cans, glass bottles, paper and more. But, there are thing that we cannot put in the recycle bin, like food waste, aluminum foil, milk bottle tops or any drink with this type of bottle tops, clothes, and more.

Other way to eliminate or reduce waste is to compost with the food waste.

I think that recycling is a really good alternative to all the things have happened on the planet, such as pollution and global heating.

On the other hand about the Chile's recycling policy, my opinion is that the government has to enact laws, that stablish a garbage sistem with all or most of the population, that will allows to throw away the trash by categorizing it, but at the home, it is not that we have to go a certain place to separate them, even better if we have both sistem, like Japan.

The reason i don't like those places is because there are not many, and where there is one, they are so disorganized  and some people doing it wrong, they throw away waste of food and garden, for example.

It's important to have committed to this process and make a change in society, due to the climatic change we need a emergency call for this, not only the people have the responsibility, but also the industry that generates waste and pollution on the planet, the fashion industry for example is one of the most alarming ways of contamination with textiles and clothing.

My future job

When i was in the school i wasn't sure what to study in university, i went from ingeener to doctor, so i was very indecisive. But, when i did the university entrance exam, i had to choose what i would want to do in my future, the only thing i really knew was that i want a career related to health, and while I was looking for a career in this area i found dentistry, i researched about it and it caught my atention and now, i really like what i am studying.

So, in my future job i want to be working like a dentist, but i would like to work abroad, for example Canada or Australia. This work mostly it is indoors.

About the salary, i don't care be a millionaire or something like that, but enough to pay the bills and save to be able to travel. And if i have to travel for the job, better, because this way i could learn about  my job, like new dental techniques,  with my parterns.

And about the specialty, i don't know in this moment, because there are many interesting fields, and i think i have to learn a lot more to decide my specialty in dentistry.

Movies and Series; Me before You

 I would like to recommend a movie called "Me before You", maybe you already watched it, because it's a little bit old, 2016, but it worth your time.

The director is Thea Sharrock, but like this movie is based in a book, the writer is Jojo Moyes. But i going to focus in the movie.

The main characters are Louisa Clark and William Traynor.

The movie is about a happy, funny and authentic girl, Louisa, who helps the family, she works really hard and in one of her jobs, she has to take care of a young millionare William, who is paraplegic for an accident he had. And little by little they became closer.

I really like this movie, because it is not the traditional romantic- comedy that the main characters fall in love at firt sight in the first 5 minutes. Unlike, they have a complicated relationship in the beginning.

I almost forgot! If you are going to watch this movie, grab a tissue, chocalates, maybe a popcorn and a soda if you like, but the tissue is a must be.

Best Holiday Ever

I decided to write about my holiday, because i have gone just an one concert, so i don´t have any others experinces to compare.

The holiday i will tell about is when i went to Peru in February 2018. I went to San Isidro, Peru. I stayed for 23 days, almost a month. I went with my aunt, auncle and cousin, because they have lived there since 2014.

We did a lot of things, but some of the activities were, like visited the capital of Peru, Lima, Bernardo O'Higgins´s house, the catacombs of San Francisco Cathedral Lima, a museum, a beach, also, we went to differents restaurants to eat traditional foods of Peru, like Ceviche. It was really delicious!

But the best thing so far has been to have the opportunity to have traveled on a plane, because it was my first time! 

So, the trip was really beautiful and i got to know a lot about the culture. Peru is a country in South America with 32 millions of people, the capital is Lima, and San isidro is one of the 43 districts.

A country i'd like to travel; France

In the future, i really want to travel though a lot of countries, but if i have to choose one of those, that would be France, because is a country that have literally everything, fashion, food, pastry, history and art.

What i know about this country is that the official lenguage is french, the capital is Paris, have a lot of historical monuments like the Eiffel tower and the Louvre museum, Paris is the home of fashion and arts recognized from all around the world and the gastronomy is well known as refined cuisine.

I would like to travel all over France, from North to South, but first i would like to learn the lenguage, because since i was young, always catch my atention differents languages, but one of my top goals is learn french in France. Also, i would like to learn how to draw and cook.

In conclusion, i'd  go there to study, but eventually i would get a job, because all this things cost money.
